Christmas Gift Appeal 2018
The Christmas Gift Appeal runs thanks to the support of Christmas in Pyrmont, the local community and businesses. Christmas in Pyrmont was the main supporter of the 2018 Appeal.
The donation of $15,000 went towards gift cards to use in local supermarkets and school supplies for children. Along with 827 new gifts, 123 second hand gifts and 175 food items that were collected by the community, the Uniting Harris Centre were able to support 211 children and adults. Over $4,000 in school supplies and $21,000 worth of gift cards for groceries were distributed. Individuals and families received from $100 to $450, depending on circumstances.

Secondhand Saturday
Over the years, Christmas in Pyrmont has helped to make SecondHand Saturday a great success.
The goal is to promote conservation and care for the environment, by providing our community with a collective second-hand market, to connect with our neighbours, and to learn more about sustainable lifestyles.
There were nearly 1,000 attendees in 2019 who exchanged thousands of pre-loved items.
With the ongoing support from Christmas in Pyrmont and many Ultimo Pyrmont community partners we look forward to being able to bring you this joyous community event for many years to come!
